It is about to begin

In the name of Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful,

I'd been finally hired by the Government of Malaysia. Thanks God.

Yesterday was the first day of working although it was all about filling up the many forms and listening to talks/advices by some officers and plus trying new stuff such as the punch card. In fact, within this week, it was all about introduction to the hospital and getting to know important stuff that a house officer (HO) should know. A tiny bit of it

Honestly, it was quite surreal, especially when people address you with the title 'doctor' in front of your name for almost everything. Two weeks ago, it wasn't there although I had been conferred on June 6th of this year. In fact, before this, occasionally people will joke about it and I will just laugh as I bear no real responsibility yet holding that title. And as of now, it was all a different story.

However, the induction held on the previous week sort of prepared me mentally on stuff that I have to expect when registering with the hospital and the Kedah states's health department. Although it was quite far from home, the induction place is superb. Living and eating in an at least 4 star hotel is something that I don't get for free often. Everything was for free. We all have to just go there and listen to talks and get to know a bit about being a government officer.

And the best of all is the way they pay the claim here for newly posted doctors. I kinda got some extra duit raya for that thanks to the induction which was held in Pahang. About 700km away from my hometown which means more money into the pocket! :)

other than that, we are also very lucky to have a week of orientation period in this hospital compared to others who were posted to various hospital around the country. Some of them even have to start the real doctor's job on their 3rd day.

********
As my working life starts, I know things might be a bit busy than usual. All I can say is that I will do my best to cater both, working life and family life.

The above quotes sum up my stand and hopefully yours too.

wassalam.

Life as a graduan

Assalamualaikum and good morning guys,

How are you guys doing? hopefully everyone is having a great time in this blissful holy month of Ramadhan.

Sahih Bukhari :: Book# 32 :: Hadith# 226
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying regarding Ramadan, “Whoever prayed at night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

First of all, i would like to extend my since apology for being so lazy to update this blog although i think very few people actually read it.

Since my last post which was months ago, lots of thing happened.

-I finally managed to pass my final medical examination as an undergraduate.
-Visited one of the best town in Ireland, Killarney for 4 days and 3 nights. Travelled back to Dublin a day before my graduation.
-Hiked up one of the highest peak in Ireland- Carraauntoohil while i was in Killarney.
-Attended the conferring dinner with the majority of my classmates the night before the conferring ceremony.
-Attended the conferring ceremony for RCSI class of 2012 on 6/6/2012.
Me and Mr Broe, President of RCSI.

RCSI Class of 2012

-Returned back to Malaysia; unexpectedly for good on the 10th of June 2012.
Never thought that this is actually real

-Met lots of friends especially in Penang Medical College (PMC)
-Visited a few places in Malaysia including Langkawi Island, Penang, and Perhentian Island with my buddies.
-Attended the PMC clas of 2012 conferring ceremony.
-Dealt with Ministry of Health, Malaysian Medical Council and SPA regarding the job application process.
-Eat lots of foods and gain/losing weights.
-Attended a 2nd wedding ceremony in 2012. This time it is between Ihsan and Farah in Sungai Siput, Perak.
-Visited the vets. because my cat had a touch of fever. Forced 'Tompok' to take the meds.
Tompok who recently had a fever

-Etc.

So, that sort of summarise everything major that had happened.

I'm kinda thinking about stop blogging actually. No real reason but definitely because I think I will not write that much any more once I start working.
I will have my job interview insyaAllah within a few days in Putrajaya. Hopefully everything will go well. I actually haven't done much study since May, so the momentum just isn't there any more.
The thoughts of going to library has been in my mind since last week but I was yet to enter the Alor Setar public library. I actually went there yesterday only to find out that it was actually close. Probably because yesterday is the first day of Ramadhan. So, I definitely will have to go there today.

I guess what I'm going to do is just to leave it like this. Whenever I feel like to write, I'll jot down a few stuff once in a while. This will definitely be like the malay saying, "hidup segan mati tak mahu" literally translated into lazy to live the life but do not want to die. Can ah? :P

I'll write more if there are nny major updates or when I am too bored.

For now, enjoy Ramadhan, make full use of it to seek repentance, find the truth in yourself, increase the faith and stay good. It is a month full of rewards, it will be a great loss if you just let it pass by like the other months.

Sahih Bukhari :: Book# 31 :: Hadith# 127
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)”

Wassalam.

Please educate, do not hate

I woke up this morning and found that a video on YouTube is going viral on facebook. Immediately as usual I have an urge that I need to watch this viral thingy. However, as I normally attend my sims social first, i let the video get the 100% buffer which only took 5 sec and finishing the tasks on the sims social. At the same time I let the video play by itself and with all the lagging due to flash player and my computer RAM, i still can hear that the people within the video was talking about hudud and I immediately know that this is some video that was made by pemuda to explain misconception about hudud among muslim and non muslim alike.

As for me, i think this is an absolutely brilliant attempt to counter some misconception regarding hudud which rarely explained to the public. Anyone that tried to explain it will be labelled as an opposition since this issue was brought in by the opposition party in Malaysia nearly some 50 years ago or maybe even earlier or slightly later.

It may seems barbaric even by hearing the kind of thing that someone who is guilty of charge have to go through but as explained in the video, the enforcement of the law isn't easy and it require very specific type of situation.

People sometime judge the implementation of hudud among the muslim alone as injustice but think carefully, if u  are a muslim and guilty for that specific mistake and then being sentenced according to the Islamic way (hudud), at least in the hereafter you will hopefully receive less punishment as you have got the kind of punishment that Allah SWT has command. Plus, the definition of justice it self also sometimes varies according to culture and religion. In Islam, being just in a crude way is translated as putting something at its own place/ doing something accordingly. For instance, you will not be just if you have a twin son and a daughter but during their birthday, you buy both of them barbie dolls??!! Same goes to 5 times daily prayer. As a muslim, would you argue that it isn't fair because the non believer do not pray 5 times a days? Unless u are total idiot, you probably would!

Still, the conventional law will always be there as it is part of taazir in Islam. so, why even afraid of hudud if u think you will not even do the crime in the first place and the conventional law is there anyway.

The next argument is the very basic of islamic fundemental. To accept everything that come with a "package" of Islam once you say the shahadah with a full understanding of it. People know that Islam is a way of life and not just another religion. Many people say shahadah but very few really understand the obligation obligation after that. That is why probably many still do not practice even the basic of Islam. Praying 5 times a day, fasting 30 days during the month of Ramadhan, pay the zakat and go to hajj.

O ye who believe! enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil One; for he is to you an avowed enemy. (208)

Last but not least, this video is only available in Malay language with no subs but I hope the director or the video editor would put in English and possibly mandarin and tamil subs later on. This issue isn't a local Malaysian issue but one of the foundation in Islam as well and possibly  an "alternative" to the conventional law being used nowadays to curb socials problems.

Finally, enjoy the video itself. I will update later if they put the subtitle for this video. :)

Thanks for reading.

P/S:
1. Even if you dont agree, if you are a muslim, think again before you say something about hudud because you may never know that you actually go against your faith. I ask for Allah protection against this.
2. Bear in mind that it is your choice and if you leave this part of your faith, you will be accounted responsible in the hereafter. Same as prayer, fasting and so on.

decision time

Long since i last scribble something here. sorry about that and million thanks to those who keep coming. please do read previous entries if nothing new posted. Hopefully something will be some benefit to you insyaAllah.

Quick update about my life.
1. Now i am already a final year med student. Quite unbelievable how fast time flies. Life even harder as you grow older. At this stage i have to wake up as early as 5 am and take a taxi to the city center as i have to be at Connoly  Hospital before 7am. My subuh (morning) prayer nowadays is in the hospital! Surgical rotation is very demanding and this is the life that i hope to live and enjoying it one day (a clear message to my future wife [if any] who will be living with me). I finished 3 different rotations so far which included orthopaedic, anaesthesia, surgical and medical. a few more to come in within the next few months.

The weather
1. Ireland as a whole were not prepared for almost anything (in term of weather). Whenever there is a slightly heavier rain, the city will quickly get flooded. Every year when they have a snow, all the transport system down as if they were never there in the first place. Buses and everything just stop working. Plus, they would always have water shortage immediately after the snow.
2. Last week, there was a sudden flood due to 'heavy' rain (nothing like heavy rain in Malaysia). The shopping centre in Dundrum was flooded because the riverbank or something failed to retain the water. It also cost 2 life. A gardai  (police) officer and a nurse.

Working
1. I am planning to stay here insyaAllah once I'm finish with my degree but am not 100% sure about it yet. Many have been talking about staying here. Not to mention some that hate to stay here and wanted to go out as soon as they can. Some feel that they were treated as 2nd class citizen and some are just because they feel that they could do more money somewhere else. As for me, i have my own reason not to rush to go back to Malaysia but again, it is not something definite. Family would be one of the greatest influence in the final decision.
2. I got approval to apply to Malta Foundation Program. Another destination that i think I will consider going if given chances. Thanks to Wanie for her help with the essay that I completed in half n hour. Believe it or not, I managed to slip through although I missed the deadline by one day.

Friends
1. I am glad that I met more people this year including some of my malaysian friends whom i was never close to them before. At least i know that a few of them are sort of from Kedah. :)
2. One of them once questioned me about hating the rain. She said "macam mana ni, tak lama lagi nak jadi suami orang dah. Hujan sikit pun takut!" I replied just by smiling. She definitely have no clue about me if she really mean it.

Study
1. All i can say is i have a difficulty to focus on books. I bought many new books but haven't manage to finish any of them yet.
2. 10 minutes reading and i already yawning.
3. The progress is superbly slow now.

future
I hope Allah will keep protecting you (whomever you will be)
Something made my heart tickle whenever i see a proposal video anywhere on the net. Maybe the time has come for me as well?

pen torch. LOL. JK

Wisdom: Saying/doing the right word/thing at the right moment at the right place

Agree? Although it could be something unpleasant or hurtful, sometimes it just need to be done/said.

In seerah (history), a man once came to see prophet Muhammad SAW. He confessed that he drank alcohol, involved in gambling and so on. He wanted the prophet to advised him. So the prophet told him, 'Don't lie'.
Short and simple.

The following is probably a longer version of the same story. See how a short message could lead to a very deep meaning if it was conveyed at the right moment in a right way.

TELLING THE TRUTH : Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.

Once a man came to the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and said, "Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The prophet said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man
promised to do so and went home. At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought
for a moment about the promise he made with the prophet. "If tomorrow the prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth,
everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing."

So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit. Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the
day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person. If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah likes and favors. If Allah - our Creator - is pleased with us, He will reward us with HEAVEN, which is a place of happiness and joy.

Make a promise: I shall always speak the truth.

I believe it is essential to advise people in a way that is best for them. Yes, it is hard to tell which one is the best for them but sometimes, just do it is also probably the best. The most important is not to humiliate them in front of others. Do it in  away that preserve their dignity although whatever they did might be very unpleasant for us that we feel the urge to yell 'STOP' at them immediately!

Okay, that's all for now. I need to continue reading as exam is only 4 days away. Pray for my success lads.
May Allah bless all of you on this very special day, the Friday.

************

I'm actually reading this one novel called 'One day'. Never thought that i would love an English novel in my life other that the Harry Potter Series. This one just captured my attention. Maybe because of the genre (romantic) or the urge to finish it before the movie adapted from this international bestselling  novel came out this early August! Ho yeah!

Barcelona part 2 will be out after July 6th okay. Bye...

No wonder they (seniors) said that its the hardest of all year although final year bear the most important result of all.
Pray for our success and hopefully one day we all can go back n serve the nation.
Not to forget, congratulations to all final year seniors from RCSI, UCD, TCD and Galway who already finished with their undergrads study. Congrats Doctors!

Lately there has been so much things happening in Malaysia espcially regarding the commotion made by PERKASA. As a malay, i feel so ashamed to have them as my countrymen. Plus, many of them are muslim and i personally think they probably don't know that they should never act in such a way.
Islam is a religion of peace and those shitheads act as if they are thw protector. From my point of view, they are not better than the Zionist. Suppressing and manipulating others using the name of race!

Malaysian style seafood noodles is very nice here. This picture has nothing to do with the post above.

Their Secret?

Assalamualaikum wbt and good mornig everyone,

The whole Japan today are combating a battle with the destructive force brought by the 'nature' (so called by the 'westerners')  about 7 days ago. Earthquake and tsunami. As they are struggling to cope and make a comeback, 'nature' brought another weapon at the destructed area, snow and cold weather. It probably will take some time  for them to win this battle. Expert opinion predicted that it could take as long as 10 years to bring everything as they were before. In some places, probably never.

Since the first day of the tragedy, i'd been following the live news from CNN, BBC and some other sources such as newspapers, blogs etc. I always find that following 'natural disaster' interesting. I am amaze by the scale and the kind of thing happened. For me, it was a reminder and at the same time, you can try to imagine if something were to happen during the end of the day. As a Muslim, we believe that Allah SWT created something for a purpose. Even in such a disaster like this. I don't want to go into the debate about 'why HE did this is he were the most merciful etc' because then it will be out from my initial reason when writing this. If you want a good explanation about that, feel free to watch a short video by Dr. Zakir Naik.

At the moment, a nuclear plant is becoming a nuclear time bomb. You probably know in detail about this thing. In short, all the 3 safety plans that supposed to contain the explosion had failed and now they are preventing what is worse to come. All are because of earthquake and tsunami. As a human, we planed for the best. In the end, it was HE that determined everything. But the point here is that we have to be prepared and don't just rely on nothing. We have to plan and work towards it and remember that at certain point, we might need to change it accordingly. The backup is a must.

Amid the chaos at the moment, some people are starting to rebuild their life. What struck me the most is to see how they can do it in a very orderly manner. Very beautiful indeed. Normally, after every disaster, all that we can see are pictures of people 'fighting' against one another for the free stuffs. The flood in Pakistan and Bangladesh, rice truck accidents in Malaysia, 2004 tsunami in Indonesia and so on. However, the scenes in Japan is totally different. All we can see is that people are helping each other to cope with the tragedy. More stories could be read here.

20 years of my life, I haven't seen anything like this. After any disaster, all sources that I read from tell me that people struggling for themselves. However, since a week ago, another unfamiliar scene came out from Japan. After seeing this, now it all makes sense that they could recover very fast after the 2nd WW. And is you visited the link above, we can see that the Japanese were able to practically applied the theories that we were thought as a human especially as a Muslim. Be kind to others and not to only think about ourself. It doesn't just stop at individual level but even companies.

Source

We talked a lot about creating Muslim individual, Muslim family, Muslim community and all the hierarchy up to the Muslim governing the world but so far, very little have been shown to the world when it comes to the practicality. The Japanese probably has shown us how we shall behave as a community and if you think closely, the only thing that they lack is Islam itself. If not, they probably would be the best Islamic Nation in the world. So, what are their secret? Care to share your thoughts? Maybe those friends who is in Japan at the moment or who have been there could share their thoughts or anyone who have read something about the Japanese would like to share something? ^___^

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.

Wassalam.

Loneliness

The video above talks about curing the problem of 'loneliness'. A very short one. Just a brief idea.

I brought up this issue because I'd seen lots of patient in psychiatric ward with the similar problem and as usual, most of them come with low mood and feel depressed. When you ask about family or support at home, many of them actually single/separated and have poor social support.

Here it shows that the importance of family and social support in an individual. In fact, it also very important in term of long care management for psychiatric patient, be if for schizophrenic patient or in depressed patient. Good social support would sometimes lead to a better prognosis. Social support doesn't just mean that live at home with family but the condition and situation at home are also vital.

So to have a good family, a proper planning is no doubt, very essential. Who, where when or what, i leave all that for you guys to answer. I dont need the answer to that. The point is, do plan and do not just sit back and wait for things to happen. By this age (23-24) it is a relevant thing to think about.

*******

One thing that i like about doing medicine is when i was able to see how people respond to a situation. This may also be applied in other field as well. For instance, today i was in the outpatient clinic and an old lady came in with her daughter. She was diagnosed a couple month back with a late onset of bipolar affective disorder. She had a few manic episodes last time and she was hospitalized for that reason. Her daughter described her as not herself anymore at that time and she herself said that she became very bold. Anyway, what i like the most is when the daughter said that you could never appreciate something else any better than something that you almost lost (referring to her mother). It is indeed very true.

Normally we tend to take thing for granted and only when we lost it or something, then we feel regret. There is no point anymore at that time. Your regret would mean nothing if u can't get it back. Although we know that in the case of a person, he/she will eventually died but while he/she is still here, appreciate it to the best level that you we can especially our own family members. They have contributed so much to allow us to be where we are at the moment.

Reflect and ask yourself again, what have you done to remember your love ones today.

Wassalam.

Note to self:
1. Two patients think that i am younger than my actual age although i have my beard all right today. In fact one of them thought that i was 16! ^__^
2. Old age psychiatric is a good way to allow you to reflect about yourself at the moment.
3. Two of my friends 'secretly' engaged and i only knew their fiancée from a lady friend. Now i know why they said girls love to gossip (or should i say stalking).

Kesimpulan

Salam wbt dan selamat malam semua,

Aku baru saja habis dengar kuliah online (KuOn) anjuran PPIMI yang disampaikan oleh Ustaz Erfino Johari melalui medium ustream tadi. Alhamdulillah, menarik sekali walaupun aku tertidur sekejap.

Isu menarik la katakan, mesti la nak kongsi ye dak? Tajuk kuliah malam ni adalah "Would You Marry Yourself?".

Yes, it is interesting to watch, tapi we have to reflect either it gives an impression of reality of just a another good story for sell.

2. Belajar betul-betul pasal hukum hakam berkenaan nikah kawin. Aku pun still kena belajar walaupun dah pernah pergi kursus kawin masa tahun satu dulu. Expect problems and learn to deal with it.

Ianya bukan penamat. Kawan aku faris cakap yang ni jugak. :P Yes it is a beginning. Pengalaman aku sendiri, aku tak pernah plan nak ambil lesen motor dulu-dulu. Even masa first time bawak moto kat jalan besar, ketar kot tangan aku. Masa tu lepas SPM dan baru lepas ambik lesen kereta macam tu, lepas tu ayah aku still hantar aku pergi kerja ulang alik naik motor. One day, ayah aku suruh aku drive bawak dia balik which something yang bukannya aku tak pernah buat, cumanya tak pernah di jalan besar dengan kereta-kereta saling memintas kita. Tapi, bila sekali cuba, aku terus rasa ok, and lepas tu, ambik lesen dan dah merempit pun kat Alor Setar tu. Takde la aku lumba, tapi bawak laju-laju. Haha. Adik-adik, jangan ikut perangai ini yeh. Peace!

Gulp
Jangan mudah mengalah walaupun dah banyak kali gagal. Jangan tunggu sahaja kerana jarang orang dapat rezeki jatuh bergolek. Even Prince William dengan Kate pun lama berusaha. Haha, cakap pasal kisah diorang lagi. Kadangkala kita sukakan seseorang tapi malu-malu.

Be realistic and not too demanding. Just look at our parents perhaps or at least my mom and my dad. Hehe.

6. Cop cop tak terpakai (u know what i mean). Kalau nak, sila serius (jumpa family atau wakil urus). Bila bertunang, kurangkan berjumpa/berbual. Ustaz dulu pun cuma berutus surat, tapi kalau sekarang, email boleh ganti la ye dak? Satu lagi, tak perlu umum pada khalayak bila bertunang. Cukup cakap kita dah bertunang, tapi tak perlu dikhabarkan dengan siapa. Tahniah Shedot kerana dah bertunang. ^__^.

Wassalam.
Jom sambung baca cauda equina syndrome O.O

P/s: Tahniah to Ibtisam Ismail dan Ariff Ahmad yang bakal melangsungkan perkahwinan hujung Disember ni. Dua-dua orang ni kawan lama aku masa sekolah rendah. Satu kelas. Dulu depa kena kacau-kacau saja, tapi last-last, kawin sungguh rupanya. Jodoh pertemuan di tangan Allah...another love story insyaAllah turning to reality.

Learning and practising

Do not ever give up.

Grab it when u have the chance. At times, you have to be selfish. if u watch KCB, that situation that Ana Althofunnisa talked about might be just one of the example.

I am doing the medicine rotation at the moment. Alhamdulillah, over the past 2 weeks, I get to practice quite a lot of knowledge. Thanks to Allah SWT again. At this rate, I believe the need to practice is as much important as the need to learn new knowledge because that is the essence of a doctor. If u have the knowledge alone and fail to practice, u are nothing. The same with practising something without knowledge.

Even in Islam, if u want to do something, you need to have the knowledge and not just following others without having any basic about that particular something.

The problem is I was a bit unfortunate because the team that I am attached with is not very keen in teaching. Only over the past few days, the consultant seems to pay more attention in teaching me. I was glad to see some changes but i don't know how long will it continues. So, in order to replace the missing hours walking around like zombie following the victim, i joined the doctor on call in the evening. Morning A&E teaching and on call at night is the best part of the learning and practising knowledge so far. Surgical team is no doubt the best teacher so far.

Mullingar
There were few stuff that i did during the on call session which is totally my first time ever such as taking blood and inserting urinary catheter on patients. Thanks to a few doctors (especially Dr. Houd, Dr. Wadi and Dr. Sunday) and nurses who were very helpful in teaching and allow me to steal some of their valuable time.

May Allah bless all your good deeds grant you the best future, here in the world and the hereafter.

"Some people just forgot that they also used to be medical students and they treat medical student like they never gone through it". Dr. Sunday.

oh, i need to revise the anatomy. :p

halfway

the assignments are halfway done. Just finish uploaded one or two a few minutes ago.
InsyaAllah more to come tomorrow. Due date is this Friday. eh, is it? haha

I went to Bray today for another session of the ATP tutor. Part of the module in the GP rotation. Our group had a new ATP tutor today. A very lovely lady doctor. Very nice to all of us.

I was alone in that one whole train compartment today from Dunloghaire Station to Bray Station. Ashraf may still remember these few places that he got to visit last 2 year. do u realize that Ashraf? It was almost 2 years already since we last me. :) How fast time flies these days.

Oh, talking about time, recently i started to question myself again regarding some of the decision that i made in the past. Not that i regretted but more like a reflection to myself. Among them is kind of allowing myself to be in the position to be hurt AGAIN. Not just that, but i think i even go to the level of suppressing some of the natural feeling (unconsciously) that sometimes i feel such a loser that i can no longer feel that.

I miss something so much, but looking at myself right now, it is just not possible. I just pray that they all went back to normal. Probably because of  a sudden change in priority that i dont even realize about these feelings anymore. Hurm...

enough for another episodes of unplanned short story today.

good night.

P/s: i heard my village got affected by the recent flood that hit Kedah and Perlis plus Jitra is now a new Pantai merdeka. :)

Ketinggalan

Banyak isu semasa yang berlaku baru-baru ni. Yang mendapat liputan meluas. Ada isu lokal dan ada isu dunia.
Aku malas nak mengulas kah?
Tapi, some of it worth mentioning it sebab it can open a lot of half-sleepy eyes out there.

1. Quran Burning Day.

This one is very popular even got the attention of Barrack O'bama which somehow has a muslim background in his family (they said his grandma sat on the stage during his inauguration ceremony wearing burqa/niqab). May Allah give him guidance (boleh ke x doa nih? ^__^)

This issue actually brought into attention by one pastor from a small church (hardcore group) in Florida. Here, we can see how the media actually play a big role in influencing something. If it were not brought to attention by media chain (facebook group and tv news), i believe that no one would really care because all these time, these sort of event does happen. Even in Malaysia! Still remember about those black metal that do all those disrespect things towards the quran back in early 2000. Do you guys think that sort of thing stopped right after it was exposed?
Okay, let us all assume that it stop. But do most of us (muslim especially) really respect the Quran in a way it should be? What about implementing basic things in Quran in our life? Do we really do it? Ask yourself?
I don't say that you should not be angry when someone do that to the Quran, but then again, let us look at ourself first before we go and hate what others that doesn't even believe in Quran do!

2. New sultan
Allahuakbar! God is the Greatest!
Kelantanese are happy people nowadays. They just got their new Sultan. Hopefully Your Majesty could help bring changes in our society. I heard this new Sultan is very down to earth kind of guy. Glad to hear that. It is a rarity nowadays. The elite don't normally know who did all the works for them. Hopefully this Sultan is a new generation of sultan that could help bring Malaysia towards a better place to live.
Hundred years ago, sultan is a very powerful people. They get all the respect that people can imagine in the society. Even in the history of the early settlement of Malacca, once the Sultan embrace Islam, it was thought that the whole people actually embrace Islam. Same stories also applies for most of the earliest civilisation. Once the king/sultan embrace a religion, everyone would/have to change to that religion. Unfortunately because they lead for too long, some of them misuse this and bring disaster to the people and came Dr. Mahathir Mohamed during our time to save us. So they were no longer has too many power in them and no longer invisible to the law.
The changes that took place reduce their (Sultans) importance in the society. They are now only seen as a symbol of the guardian of Islam and the culture. At one stage, one of my friend ask me "why do we need sultan? why do we pay him (tax) to live that luxurious life? They are of no importance to us! I think we should abolish the sultanate in Malaysia". I am totally clueless at that time because there are some degree of truth in it.
So why do u guys think that we need sultan nowadays? ^___^

3. The Turks Story.
Does anyone know what happened in Turkey recently? See how politics works?
U don't jump into power and straight away change everything because that would create havoc! Bit by bit  and they actually did it. Congratulation to Mr. Erdogan. Although he is seen by many people in Turkey as a religious guy (unfortunately the turks do not like that), the secular society of Turkey still vote in favour of changing the constitution.
Educating the people (millions) is not easy. Even after you got majority of people schooled, some of then still do not understand one issue as one! As the saying goes, not all blonde is stupid! LOL. This is when politics plays an important role. Politics is an art of governing people. The same reason also allow us to have our 1Malaysia. Unfortunately, because of the incoherent that happens in implementing it, 1Malaysia seems about to fail. BIG TIME
I am not happy because i know a lot of money had been used to make billboards, adds, button badge and everything that you can name to help spread the idea. No one should be blame other than the gov. themself that failed to planned it properly even after they got the best help from APCO.
So, from this, what we can learn is that it is a good thing to try to unite everyone but you must know the base for that. If it were only for people to support you, you are making a big mistake because in the end, truth always win although it may takes hundreds years for that to happen!

4. Other issues that you might want to check regularly because of the ongoing problem are about the Palestine, and also the flood in Pakistan. I would have to be newscaster if i were to write about it. Hehe. InsyaAllah everyone knows what happened right? Please continue to ease the burden of our brothers over there. A lot of channel could be use to do that. Here are some of them. Muslim Aid and Islamic-relief

So, i think i should stop before i bored more people. Haha. Anyway, the conclusion is, to not to be left behind, please do read news everyday. AVOID TV3, TV2 and TV1 if it is about Malaysian politics. ROFL. You surely do not want to be someone who only works to full his own stomach and never think about other right?

P/s: Resident Evil Afterlife 3D Rocks! ^___^. Can't wait for the next movie. Oh...rumah masih berselerak.

Maintaining computer

Okay, here is the thing. Many of us have computer. Some even more than one. Maybe a laptop and a desktop and some maybe two laptops. The number does not  matter. As long as you have money, you can get as many as you want. But the thing is, why buy so many laptops or have more than one if you can just use that single laptop efficiently. One might argue that if that the one they use broke down, so they have the back up. Indeed it is true. For these people, i just wonder if you guys ever know what the external hard disk is? Kidding kidding. However, for some, even if they have more than one, their laptop/desktop still broke down easily. Why is this so?? Oh, maybe they didn’t use it carefully so it broke down easily. Some of my friend even had incomplete keyboard button only after 6 months. Okay okay, 12 months. So…do they play more games than i do until it went off? The answer is that, NO! They did not. Maybe because they are too rough (much more than games!!) on their computer. I have no clue at all. It baffles me.

Anyway, that is not the main thing i am going to touch here today. I only write this entry because i found that many of us are not really good in maintaining their computer no matter how new it is. It is seriously a waste if you have the latest edition of desktop with super speed lighting processor if after 3 months, the computer infected by the virus  and had to be sent to the IT center to repair it. Alhamdulillah, over the past 2 years, i only get to reinstall an OS (window)  once or twice and able to install new OS (Ubuntu) on both of my PC. One or twice episodes of virus attack which easily dealt with and thats basically it. all the 3 PC (including one in Malaysia) still working well and one of them even after 5 years, still working pretty well although the screen holder is already broke.

So, what you computer really need to stay away from viruses, trojans, backdoor programs malware etc. are only a few softwares which from my experience really do work very well to keep the PC safe. They don't just keep your PC safe but also in many occasion become faster (please do not compare your 1.73Ghz with someone that has a quad core processor!)

Kematian

Memang benar orang kata, bila dah hilang sesuatu, baru la rasa nak hargai betul-betul.
Terutamanya bila sesuatu yang kita hilang tu sememangnya sukar diperolehi.
Kadang-kadang nikmat bila dianugerahkan sesuatu tu kita take for granted. tak menghargai dengan sebetulnya.

Walaupun Shiro seekor kucing. Untuk individu macam saya yang dah lama tak menghadapi kematian kaum kerabat terdekat, this event is a big blow to myself yang selalu leka ini.

Antaranya ialah:

Wassalam.

P/S: Malam ni malam ke 21 Ramadhan. Bagaimana dengan ibadah anda?

Change

Good morning and happy Ramadhan for all,

its 8 am here in Dublin. The sun is already high.
The weather outside looking very good with crystal clear blue sky. Not a single cloud visible from my window. A rare scenery in Dublin lately.

Linux
Ubuntu
Currently i'm using Linux OS (operating system). Just trying out after haven't use it for some time already. I already 'own' this OS since last April actually. It is free by the way. ^__^
Using new OS is like trying to explore new computer altogether. The experience of trying to install 'new' software such as Skype, YM, video player and some other is always interesting. You always need to 'venture' into forums which luckily has almost everything that you need to know when you want to install something.
Although window XP, vista and 7 are not the same (which means you need to try new stuff when you decide to change your OS), but since they are from the same company, the experience of changing from one another are never as the same as using the new OS from different manufacture. It was like you see your old friend in their new shirts. The case also apply for the new Mac user i assume.
So after you get the idea that you want to change your OS, surely you have to find that new OS (if you don't want to buy them). That's is a preparation process. Be ready before you change! Oh, by the way, this is my first entry using this OS!  (^__^)

Sama saja?

Mudah-mudahan diberi kesempatan.

"Denyut Kasih Medic", "Isabella" dan "Pemilik cintaku selepas Allah dan Rasul". InsyaAllah a few more will follow, bi-iznillah.

Manusia berubah. Pengalaman pun bertambah.

Wassalam.

p/s: Filem 'The Predator' tak best! Huhu

Bias membuta tuli

Dia pun manusia, tapi salah la kalau dia memang buat macam tu.

Langkah salah kita tegur, taknak dengar, lantak la. Nak terus sokong kerajaan sekarang pun lantaklah. Silakan.

(al-Maidah: 90-91)

Mestinya sesiapa sahaja nak menunjukkan diri dia baik.
