Di waktu yg singkat ni, aku nak ucapkan terima kasih kepada yang masih sudi menjenguk meninjau blog ni walaupun takdak entry baru. Masa kurang mengizinkan kebelakangan ni dengan exam yang makin hampir dan sebagainya.
Seminggu cuti sudah berlalu dan seminggu yang berlalu tu sangat menyeronokkan sebab Ashraf datang bercuti dari kejauhan. Hampir 4 tahun tak berjumpa dengan my x-roomate di MRSM Beseri ni. Maaf ye Ashraf atas segala kekurangan dari Dublin. Semoga ko dapat fokus untuk habiskan ko punya semester terakhir ni dengan jayanya. Dah nak grad nanti kabor-kaborkan la sama no. :)
Jadi, sekarang masa untuk fokus belajar pulak. Tiada lagi masa bermain-main melainkan untuk berehat seketika. Doakan segalanya dimudahkan. Neuroscience and Evidence Base Health, here I come. Jom study...

Alhamdulillah,
Syukur setinggi-tinggi kepada-NYA kerana masih memanjangkan usia misteri ini untuk menyambut Hari Raya Aidil Adha semalam.
Hari Raya Aidiladha tahun ini ada positif dan negatifnya.
Positif:
1. Kali pertama sambut hari raya aidiladha di bumi Dublin. Last year aku masih di Marsielle , France dan tak pun berkesempatan solat sunat Aidil Adha di sana.
2. Ada satu kelas saja semalam. Mula pukul 8 dan habis pukul 9 pg. Jadi disebabkan solat di Malaysian Hall mula pukul 9.30 pg, aku dan rakan2 dari RCSI (kebanyakannya pelajar tahun 2) sempat untuk bersolat berjemaah di sana bersama duta baru Malaysia di Ireland, Yang Terutama Raja Nazrin Syah. (bukan pemangku sultan perak tu tau. :P)

4. Masih boleh berbaju melayu ke kuliah. Happy tgk kebanyakan pelajar melayu lelaki berbaju lengkap. Ada la suasana di Malaysia sikit. haha
5. Malam semalam, aku tak perlu masak sebab semua kedai halal tutup...ditambah dengan rasa malas pulak kan...best sungguh... :D
Selepas kuliah
1. Raya kali ni dalam suasana muram. (tiada hari yang cerah) Hujan hampit sepanjang pagi... huhu
2. Tak meriah. Banyak orang ada kelas dan hanya ada satu rumah dua rumah terbuka. Aku hanya sempat ke rumah Tuan Haji Fauzi.

Today as usual, we had lectures. not much different from any other day in a sense that I was half-asleep during the lectures as usual -.- but somehow, i was fresh all the way today when Prof Jocehn Phren together with his funny german-english accent (if u know what i mean) gave the lecture. Anyway, the lecture given by Dr. Eva Doherty today was a kinda making me thought about something. As usual she started her lecture with some again-short-video-session (as my rum8 predicted) in the beginning. Today, the short clip was taken from the movie, 28 days if I'm not mistaken.
The movie was about a girl who's trying to fight her addiction. Sandra Bullock was the main actress. ^-^ Thats not the case anyway. Here how the crucial part goes. As i was half-awake during the lecture given by Dr. Doherty, i realized that i was about 5 to 10 slides behind while leaving some sleepy-person-scratch-notes on the paper, when she mention something about liking and wanting. The lecture today was about the "Emotional and Cognitive Aspects of Addiction". all of sudden, I was no longer sleepy. very weird actually. something suddenly struck me. its about the liking and wanting. she mention something like - "u can like something but not wanting it at the same time because liking and wanting came from different part of your brain"- or something to that effect.
dunno where it came from or how it came into my mind, suddenly i started to think about love . its weird enough coz early in the lecture (before i was half-asleep), i tried to put myself in a shoes of someone who's addicted to games :p. If I'm not mistaken, its the limbic system that responsible for the survival of human races and its also responsible for the affection toward something. Insula according to Dr. Gary Duffin is the one responsible for the pain associated with emotion, so i reckon its the same thing that effect the emotion. The limbic system. (Correct me if i made a mistake here.)
As i started to put liking and wanting to their places for further evaluation, i came out with the stupid rationalization regarding why sometimes people like someone but not loving them (in a true sense of love) and not wanting to live with them. Probably what is happening (from my POV) is that both part which responsible for liking and wanting are not being cooperative or mb not activated on the same basis. So, as one is activated, the other one is not, thus making ones only either like or want something but not in a full affection to able him to own that something.
My justification here is that true love arises from these two feelings. Feelings? whatever u wanna call it. In the mean time, when thinking about long married couple, mb this is the thing that hold them together. I'm not saying that these were the only thing as we know so many more thing that keep them together such as kids etc. but, without these 2 feelings that gave birth to love, i wonder how can someone live with someone who's he only like but do not want them. at the same time, mb this is also the reason why some initially-happy-couples stranded in the middle of their journey and had to re-run the path again. Not enough activation of the neurotransmitter mb to brought them to the end. Marriage. :p
And as for me, i might had ran through the same path at some stage of my life but as i said, mb just by liking someone, it wasn't enough. to re-run it again, i need some cool down periode. so, lets like lots of people, but loves only few of them. as i always remind myself, keep the option open until u really meet someone whom u both like and want. :p
So, what i'm trying to say here is that liking someone is another thing and wanting to be with them is another thing. So, to all my friends (guys expecially) next time i say that i like someone, plz don't take my word wrongly okay!! Love will only flourish if both are present.

This week, so many events happening. Among those were me joining the RCSI Fencing Club, we got back out normal internet speed (which i reckon not long until we get throttle again )and me becoming more active like i used to be. Playing all sort of sports available in front of me including badminton, volleyball, football, basketball n the latest one, fencing. Gonna be the next Hang Tuah maybe. :p
Thanks to mr-nice and irish-customer-service guy for walk your talk. not like the Mr. I***** that i spoke few weeks ago. liar!

For me, the first one is the best of all as we are able to look at the REAL human brain! yes, the actual brain! FYI, its very sticky and spongy. Human brain also very delicate and complex. as my demonstrator said, the deep we go in, the more complex it will get. so far, we learned about the area on the cortex (surface) of the brain and identifying the origin of all the 12 cranial nerve and look at the formation of Circle of Willis which carefully designed by HIM to supply all part of the brain with nutrients. Subhanallah... This friday, i reckon we'll be looking deeper into the human brain and try to identify all those putamen, striatum, genu etc. [dont worry about these weird terms :) ]
Anyway, i can't wait for this December as i'm gonna have a special guest from Malaysia. Haven't met him for almost 4 years now. Hope everything is getting well and on schedule Ashraf. Don't forget to tell me ur time of arrival ya.... ah, the nurse on call thingy...tomorrow i'm gonna try to settle everything n hope that i can work during this winter holiday after the exam which is scheduled on early January. 8th Jan if i'm not mistaken. Please all, pray for our success as this semester is very though. sooooo many new terms to remember especially all those friendly named drugs. duh...
k, better get going. need to get some sleep for a long day tomorrow.... :D

BTireland ni mmg hampes.Konon Unlimited download package, tp diorng cut the speed of our connection sbb konon2nya kitorng ni heavy user. For sure la! 7 org kongsi, awat yg x heavynya! N that's the reason we opted for the UNLIMITED package tu. Kalau x heavy user, watpa nk amik yg UNLIMITED, PANDAI!
they claimed that we were also need to comply to the so-called Fair Usage policy. benci btol!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....
Back to the business here, i just would like to share with u guys some of the pictures taken during our open house. Alhamdulillah, the event went very well and though we expect people to turn in up until about 10 pm, the last group of guest however left at about 10 past 12. Amidst their late arrival, they were very lucky coz they still got to taste the real deal of Kuah lodeh by Chef Faiz and Chef Yunus (not to mention the masterchef Muaz ^^) and also the delicious pasta. Sorry coz the rendang finished earlier than expected as people can't resist to eat only one piece per person. However, thats the rezeki of those who turn in early, they got to taste more and yeay...they return to their home with satisfaction and stomach full i hope. :D
I think that he is afraid of getting anaphylactic attack if the opposite gender turn up at our door. lol

Alhamdulillah, selepas hampir ber-minggu2 x sempat update blog ni, akhirnya dapat la jugak update walaupun tgh sibuk2 sket ni. hehe

Tahun ni lain sikit sebab hari raya jatuh pada hari Rabu, hari kelas, last year hari sabtu kot, so semua org sempat ke Malaysian Hall. Tapi tahun ni nampaknya macam xdak la sgt kesempatan tu...walaupun pada dasarnya boleh saja tuang kelas hari tu, tapi sebab CC (tutorial) tu diambil kedatangannya...so xleh la. kalau tuang, effect markah. walapun hanya beberapa perpuluhan percent, tp sebab 0.5 nilainya sangat besar, so pergi ajalah..bukannya rugi apa pun kn? :D
walau macam mana pun, hari tu, aku ke kelas dengan separa berbaju melayu saja...haha, malas nk menjawab bila ditanya nnt kenapa berbaju pelik.(Baju melayu + sampin) :p
So, lepas dah balik ke rumah tu, sempat la jugak bergambar dgn baju raya baru yg mama kirim dari malaysia. kaler pun mama pilih. hehe. Terima kasih mama....insyaAllah tahun depan along raya kat rumah.^^

I just encountered a few video while u-tubing a few moments ago. Some scenes in the video were expected but some were really unbelievably true.
This somehow create a question in me, is it wrong to be a racist which i mean against the Jews? Have your own judgment.

Look how cruel the women J (Jew) in the video can turn into though i think she knew that the women M (Muslim) trapped in the "cage" can cause no harm as she (M) is inside whereas she (J) is outside.
Enjoy n remember to notice that this sort of thing will never going to end, believe me! We need to remind ourselves about the situation happening there in Palestine is always going to continue as it is happening at the very moment. Don't be a seasonal when it comes to this thing. Here how it starts.
Once upon a time, there was a boy who loves to stare at his laptop screen and watching movies. He watches almost all genres of movies as long as he finds them interesting. One day, he got a brilliant idea that he wants to write down the title of the entire movie that he watched from that moment onward.
A week later, the boy revised the list. It turns out that he watched almost 20 movies in that week alone! What an achievement! To his surprise, most of the movies are loves and romantic movies. “What! Oh, don’t worry its normal as some people have more tendencies to watch certain genre of movie” he tried to comfort himself. However, it seems that the boy was actually standing on the ground of reality as he is turning 21 and still single. So he decided to just let things going on as it gives him some sort of relieves over the loneliness.

And now, this boy was so boring and he wanted to share his thought on the loves story he watched and why he kept watching those movies. It is me. Yes, me, the writer. The lame and lazy bump who feels so bored!

There were few reasons that made him loves those romantic movies. One thing is that somehow it tells the reality rather than the theoretical stuff. Most of the theories that he knows about loves usually doesn’t work perfectly as they seems to be in the real world. Even though it was just a movie which someone had created the storyline and all, but this boy believes that things doesn’t just come out of the blue. At least, there must be a basis that made the producer or the script writer interested to create the storyline in the first place.
He believes that loves story usually come from an actual experience of someone even though there might be lots of stuffs exaggerated in the movie. This at least teaches him that love usually doesn’t end in a typical happy ending that he used to hear when reading books like Snow White, Cinderella and all the fairy tales he encountered. This evening, he watched a movie called Definitely Maybe. It was a new movie released around last march but he never had a chance to watch it. Now, since he has lot of ‘free’ time, he decided to watch all the movies he had missed including this one.
This movie, Definitely Maybe was special as it involves a very complicated storyline. It starts with a girl who is trying to make her father reveal her actual mom. The father was so brilliant and he wanted her daughter to make a guess of her mom from the story he is about to tell her. Then the father started to tell his daughter his love story. In that story, there were 3 girls involved and this is when things are getting interesting as the daughter trying to rule out the character one by one by reasoning. Here we can see how a pure thought of a child trying to understand about a real love and at the same time figuring out his actual mom. Though in the end there was a happy ending but the happy ending in this movie was a bit different from the typical one we used to seen as we can see how a daughter tried her best to make her dad happy. (Just don’t want to spoil the ending for those who haven’t watched it yet)
From the movie, the boy thinks that he can get lots of values. Though it was made purposely in the movie, he believes that nothing wrong to learn from the movie as somehow it reflects the actually situation happening outside there. The more he watches the movies, the more he can learn. In fact, it is parallel with the way that most normal human learn. By watching! He (I) strongly believes that it helps him to make decision by deduction when it comes to certain thing such as love matters.
Yes, this love matters are so complicated and full of surprising choices that he need to choose although actually the answers was never certain. Still blur. Sometimes, he himself wonders why it was difficult for him as some people around him can find the ‘answer’ easily. Is it luck or it is destiny? Did he destine for it or not? The biggest question ever! Does it has to be in a correct time and situation to make it happen or it requires something which is more important to make it a reality? With lots more questions to be answered, the boy left it for the readers to give some thought about it.

Sesungguhnya apabila umor makin meningkat ni, bila kita kenang semula segala perjalanan hidup yg lampau, banyak sudah benda yg dilalui dan juga banyak perkara baru yg dipelajari. Meningkatnya umor ni jugak mengingatkan kita bahawa ajal juga semakin hampir. walaupun 'baru' 21 (muda lg tu), takdak sapa yg boleh guarantee umor ini akan menjangkau hingga 60 dan ke atas. Tambahan pulak dengan baru2 ni bnyk berita pasal kematian, sememangnya agak kecut perut sbb rasanya diri belum bersedia untuk bertemu Yg Esa. Dengan segala dosa2 lampau yg entah terampun ka tak tu, sememangnya cukup mendukacitakan kalau 'kembali' dalam keadaan mcm tu.
