Final of Final

Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone.

Woah...just realised that i haven't write anything here for a few months. Longest gap ever. As usual, blame it on the lazyness and the 'busyness'.

It wasn't too busy that I have no time to write but rather I feel that better for me to keep certain things to myself.
Looking back, my 5 year journey in medical school almost come to an end. The undergraduate study at least. To be exact, the final of final undergraduate exam is only 22 days away! So much things to do and prepare. Wow, time flies sooo fast!

Again, as usual, when I have an exam the next day or around the corner, somehow the urge to waste my time to write something here become more and more apparent. In fact, I actually have mock exam tomorrow at 1 pm. LOL. Just pray that my brain didn't stop working during the exam, insyaAllah everything will be fine.

unrelated picture from google
Last 5 weeks or so, I already had an exam, the OSCE (Objective structured Clinical Examination) or commonly known as short cases. All praise to Allah, I think i did quite okay in the exam. Although some of the cases were quite rare for me, i think I managed to handle them pretty well. Not able to answer one or two question is not the end of the world! The medicine cases were mitral valve replacement, lower lobe lung lobectomy (removal of the lung lobe), parkinson disease and ascites. On the other hand, surgical cases were full of surprise! I got bilateral breast reconstruction case, bilateral knee replacement, renal transplant and stoma.

This OSCE exam made 12.5% of overall final marks and hopefully i was able to grab 3/4 out of that percentage.

Before the OSCE, we already had continuous assessment (TOSBA and TOSCE) during the compulsory Beaumont Hospital Rotation in which I think I did quite a good job to impress the examiner at that time. Alhamdulillah that Allah made it easy for me. The review at the end of the 4 weeks medicine and surgical rotation, each were very promising. The tutors were very happy with my progression. This continuous assessment actually contributed more marks than the OSCE exam itself. Nothing else that I could say than Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah and Alhamdulillah.

Since my last post in December, lots of thing have been happening. I went to travel during winter (I will elaborate more after the exam), I finished my exam as above, I'd done a few different rotations,  meet lots of patients in hospital, ranted a lot within myself, feel unhappy about how certain things are, get angry to peoples etc. LOL.

I mean, nothing major really other than exam and probably that is why I didn't feel the need to write here. Obviously a lot of major things has been happening around me like my dad just had a cataracts surgery, my little sister got her SPM result etc. but on personal level, nothing much changes.

At many stage, I did feel like writing about issues that have been happening in the world and malaysia but i think there were many more good places (blogs, news portals) that you guys can go and read about that so why bother. In fact, sometimes all it did was more trouble instead.

Politically, I am sure that many are aware that if I were to write anything, it will be against those stupid changes that the government did and their desperados attempt to remain in power, I better go pray instead of writing here coz i am well aware that the reader are mainly among my close circle of friends and family. So no major impact would came out of it since many are actually on the same side as me. Unless Najib or Tun Dr. M read my blog, I may write something useful.

So before I continue this endless rant, I pray that everyone out there is having a blissful life and always guided by Allah SWT. Please keep continue for my success and also to everyone in my class. May we all one day be able to give back to the community to our best.

Lastly, to the dearest friend that keep asking about any special summer event for me, other than graduation, do not expect to get a wedding invitation or anything. Nothing is happening this summer.
Other than Captain Jack Sparrow, no other sailor has the ability to sail the big ship on his own! :)

Adios and assalamualaikum.

P/s:
2. Tahniah buat adinda Nurul Iman diatas keputusan SPM tersebut. SPM is not everything, your actual journey just about to begin :)

Please educate, do not hate

I woke up this morning and found that a video on YouTube is going viral on facebook. Immediately as usual I have an urge that I need to watch this viral thingy. However, as I normally attend my sims social first, i let the video get the 100% buffer which only took 5 sec and finishing the tasks on the sims social. At the same time I let the video play by itself and with all the lagging due to flash player and my computer RAM, i still can hear that the people within the video was talking about hudud and I immediately know that this is some video that was made by pemuda to explain misconception about hudud among muslim and non muslim alike.

As for me, i think this is an absolutely brilliant attempt to counter some misconception regarding hudud which rarely explained to the public. Anyone that tried to explain it will be labelled as an opposition since this issue was brought in by the opposition party in Malaysia nearly some 50 years ago or maybe even earlier or slightly later.

It may seems barbaric even by hearing the kind of thing that someone who is guilty of charge have to go through but as explained in the video, the enforcement of the law isn't easy and it require very specific type of situation.

People sometime judge the implementation of hudud among the muslim alone as injustice but think carefully, if u  are a muslim and guilty for that specific mistake and then being sentenced according to the Islamic way (hudud), at least in the hereafter you will hopefully receive less punishment as you have got the kind of punishment that Allah SWT has command. Plus, the definition of justice it self also sometimes varies according to culture and religion. In Islam, being just in a crude way is translated as putting something at its own place/ doing something accordingly. For instance, you will not be just if you have a twin son and a daughter but during their birthday, you buy both of them barbie dolls??!! Same goes to 5 times daily prayer. As a muslim, would you argue that it isn't fair because the non believer do not pray 5 times a days? Unless u are total idiot, you probably would!

Still, the conventional law will always be there as it is part of taazir in Islam. so, why even afraid of hudud if u think you will not even do the crime in the first place and the conventional law is there anyway.

The next argument is the very basic of islamic fundemental. To accept everything that come with a "package" of Islam once you say the shahadah with a full understanding of it. People know that Islam is a way of life and not just another religion. Many people say shahadah but very few really understand the obligation obligation after that. That is why probably many still do not practice even the basic of Islam. Praying 5 times a day, fasting 30 days during the month of Ramadhan, pay the zakat and go to hajj.

O ye who believe! enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil One; for he is to you an avowed enemy. (208)

Last but not least, this video is only available in Malay language with no subs but I hope the director or the video editor would put in English and possibly mandarin and tamil subs later on. This issue isn't a local Malaysian issue but one of the foundation in Islam as well and possibly  an "alternative" to the conventional law being used nowadays to curb socials problems.

Finally, enjoy the video itself. I will update later if they put the subtitle for this video. :)

Thanks for reading.

P/S:
1. Even if you dont agree, if you are a muslim, think again before you say something about hudud because you may never know that you actually go against your faith. I ask for Allah protection against this.
2. Bear in mind that it is your choice and if you leave this part of your faith, you will be accounted responsible in the hereafter. Same as prayer, fasting and so on.

Life goes on

Almost a month ago i turned 24. Life feels so short when I look back. As if I just arrived last week in Ireland although it was already 4 years. Leaving high school back in 2004 doesn't feel too long since i can still remember some of the question from the SPM examination (i think! :D)

thanks  ^__^

As usual, I would like to thank my mom, dad and the rest of my close family members who keep praying for my safety and successin this foreign land. Although it had been more than 4 years since we last celebrated it, for me, the thoughts that matter the most. Millions thanks to all.

To all my friends that helped to cheer me up with those cakes, lunch and dinner and well wishes, thanks very much. Your efforts is priceless. It is surely one of the best I ever had for the past few years.

**********

At connoly hospital. Got no clue on how to rotate the pic. Sorry

At the moment, everything seems to be going very well. My pace is still quite slow but in getting there. Please keep praying and make dua' for us to face the final year of this tiring college life successfully Insyaallah.
I feels like I need to know more than the time I actually have to read everything. May Allah ease the efforts Insyaallah.

Till we meet again. I dont think i can write as frequent as i can but if anything important or i feel like rant, i'll definitely will post it here.
Okay, bye...

Barcelona part 2

part 2 of the journey in Barcelona (edited*)

The Be Hostel sound that i stayed in has some disadvantage in term of power sockets inside the room. They only have them at one corner (at least in the room that i stayed in) although there were more than enough to be used by 10 person.

since I dont want to act awkwardly by arching over my newly met friend who was sleeping on the bed in order to get to the power socket, i decided to charge my phone in the common room area where the breakfast was served.
Following the breakfast, i noticed something wrong. My skin was peeling badly especially on the nasal bridge and on the forehead. Probably because of the heat or maybe the sunburn. The next thing i did was i quickly went to the pharmacy and get the facial cleaner that help to de-skin the part that was peeling. quite costly since they dont have the regular Nivea, so i just bought a product from a brand that i never heard of which cost me almost 20 euro! pFFFT!

The 2nd day start at 10 am although i already awake since 8am. it was the 'free' tour guide conducted by a guy named Adam. He was from aussie. There were 2 different guides that happen at the same time. One is call Gaudi Tour and the other one is Gothic Tour. They do this twice every day, one in the morning and one in the evening. so, you can go to either one in the morning and the next one in the evening or the following day.
Famous restaurant. One of Messi's favorite. Specialize in snails cooking.

Picasso was accepted at a very young age here in this building. Some kind of arts university

Adam with the background of old Roman's wall
In my opinion, the good thing about this tour was that it brought you around the gothic part (old city) of barcelona and at the same time went through some interesting history of the history including where Mr. Christopher Columbus brought back some native american to barcelona and met Queen Isabella to tell her about the success of the mission. We were sitting on the stairs where it all happened some hundreds years ago while he went through the history. Plus, the tour also allow you to meet and interact with new people including a lady (sorry Mong. :P) from Malaysia who was actually enjoying her holiday in europe.

At lunchtime, we had a 3 course menu lunch at one of the restaurant in Plaza Real. It was very cheap. Less than 10 euro and you can get a proper 3 course menu with free water. :P Definitely it was a new experience for me as i rarely had any lunch experience as such. Oh, this place was also where all the 'magic' happen on my last night in Barcelona which i would tell more on the last part of the trip.

Lunch with Mong
So, at about 3pm, we both went back to each other hostel (after some quick strolling at the La Rambla) and have some rest before going out again at 4pm for another tour. The Gaudi Tour. This time, Ola (she is from Poland) guided us through the whole tour and we visited almost all the important work arts of the great architect, Gaudi. By going out with the tour group, you don't just see the arts but also know a little bit about them in which if you have great interest, you can visit again at your own pleasure although it would cost some amount of money. At least 10 euro. many are actually cost about 15 euro+. On this tour, i met Mickael, Fred and some other people. Below are some pics from the evening tour.

@ one of Gaudi's masterpiece
@ the famous market. Off la rambla
@ Sagrada da Familia
One more interesting part about this 2nd day was it somehow fall on the San Juan Festival. So, although it was only 6pm when the tour finished, many of us already headed towards the beach area where the celebration took place. In fact, two of the people from the tour already wore their beach shorts on the tour! As for me, I decided to go back to the hostel immediately after the tour, prayed asar and then went to the beach with the other group as Mong and Mickael decided to go for Tapas and something tour (more like a traditional dinner and some dancing show going on at the same time). it cost only 20 euro! ;p

So, as day went by (post quick kebab dinner), we eventually reached the beach at around 10pm. Initially there was only 4 of us just sitting on the beach and talking with the background of locals that keep lighting up the firecrackers. At about 12 midnight after the other finished enjoying their tapas and something-that-i-forgot-the-name, we all sit together in a group of about 10 people and started to enjoy the scenes. The Catalan really celebrate this event which some said was even merrier than the Christmas celebration (without the santa). They said it was considered as some sort of new year celebration which could be true as people did went to the beach with tents and barbecues and the most important of all, firecrackers and fireworks!

Apart from people skinny dipping in the Mediterranean and getting drunk, the rest were fine. We stay on the beach almost until 4am when everyone decided to go back as some  of us need to catch bus and flight to their next destination. Overall, it was fun just sitting and talking, sharing experiences and knowing a little bit more about everything and one another. :)
I slept soundly after performing the subuh (morning) prayer before begin the journey on my last day at Barcelona as a lone ranger . ^__^

p/s: I'll put more pictures later as those pics are on my other comp. wait for the FC barcelona, park gueil and last night dinner experience. bye..

Wisdom: Saying/doing the right word/thing at the right moment at the right place

Agree? Although it could be something unpleasant or hurtful, sometimes it just need to be done/said.

In seerah (history), a man once came to see prophet Muhammad SAW. He confessed that he drank alcohol, involved in gambling and so on. He wanted the prophet to advised him. So the prophet told him, 'Don't lie'.
Short and simple.

The following is probably a longer version of the same story. See how a short message could lead to a very deep meaning if it was conveyed at the right moment in a right way.

TELLING THE TRUTH : Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.

Once a man came to the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and said, "Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?" The prophet said, "Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth." The man
promised to do so and went home. At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought
for a moment about the promise he made with the prophet. "If tomorrow the prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth,
everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing."

So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit. Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, "What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the
day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me, because a Muslim is not allowed to drink wine." And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good person. If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah likes and favors. If Allah - our Creator - is pleased with us, He will reward us with HEAVEN, which is a place of happiness and joy.

Make a promise: I shall always speak the truth.

I believe it is essential to advise people in a way that is best for them. Yes, it is hard to tell which one is the best for them but sometimes, just do it is also probably the best. The most important is not to humiliate them in front of others. Do it in  away that preserve their dignity although whatever they did might be very unpleasant for us that we feel the urge to yell 'STOP' at them immediately!

Okay, that's all for now. I need to continue reading as exam is only 4 days away. Pray for my success lads.
May Allah bless all of you on this very special day, the Friday.

************

I'm actually reading this one novel called 'One day'. Never thought that i would love an English novel in my life other that the Harry Potter Series. This one just captured my attention. Maybe because of the genre (romantic) or the urge to finish it before the movie adapted from this international bestselling  novel came out this early August! Ho yeah!

Barcelona part 2 will be out after July 6th okay. Bye...

Matematik darjah satu

Banding harga gula.

lama dah menulis yg ni tapi tersangkut dekat draft. lupa dah apa nak dimasukkan lagi.

Perhimpunan BERSIH 2.0 tak lama lagi. Jom pakat ramai-ramai turun KL sertai perhimpunan tu.

Credit

Sebelum merdeka, kebanyakan gerakan menentang penjajahan diketua golongan muda, no wonder la kerajaan sekarang penuhkan jiwa anak-muda dengan perkara yang membaculkan diri anak-anak muda ni supaya tak dapat bangun menentang kezaliman.

Kalau rasa aku tipu, baca balik buku teks sejarah sekolah menengah! Pastu, boleh jugak kot baca satu buku ni yang macam menarik, The Other Malaysia.

ALLAHUAKBAR!

Pray for our success and hopefully one day we all can go back n serve the nation.
Not to forget, congratulations to all final year seniors from RCSI, UCD, TCD and Galway who already finished with their undergrads study. Congrats Doctors!

Lately there has been so much things happening in Malaysia espcially regarding the commotion made by PERKASA. As a malay, i feel so ashamed to have them as my countrymen. Plus, many of them are muslim and i personally think they probably don't know that they should never act in such a way.
Islam is a religion of peace and those shitheads act as if they are thw protector. From my point of view, they are not better than the Zionist. Suppressing and manipulating others using the name of race!

Malaysian style seafood noodles is very nice here. This picture has nothing to do with the post above.

Experiences

Just a quick lame update as i'd already left this blog unattended for a few weeks.

Interesting experience so far while doing the ObsGyn rotation.

Source
1. Met a lady today who is already 5 months into her pregnancy unaware of the baby and had a PV bleeding a few times before which she put down to her irregular cycle.
Everyone was laughing like hell while she had her abdominal U/S following her reaction. Surprisingly her abdomen was not as distended as you would expect it to be. Another example of how everything was not like a textbook.

++++++

2. Attending clinic has been good experience so far for me but not to others. I'm very sorry for you guys except to those who keep complaining and exert a negative effect to others by discourage them to go to clinic just because you have a bad experience. Not everyone will get the same treatment for sure but you don't discourage others. yes you may tell them whom and whom not to go with during the clinic but as usual, there are other good doctors who is caring enough to teach you one or two things.
Keep complaining would not make the situation any better unless you really go and see prof!
++++++

3. Newborn baby is actually almost light blue in colour. I only saw one delivery so far and it was by caesarean section. Hoping to see more in the next 2 weeks and possibly do one or two or maybe more delivery. At least when I'm ready to have my own child, I won't be fainting next to my wife (insyaAllah) who is in a great pain waiting for the baby to come out. ^__^

++++++

4. Today i took a history from a nurse and a doctor. Both are inpatient because of their blood sugar level was elevated. One is a type 1 DM patient while another is being investigated for a possibility of gestational induce diabetes. "Being a patient was absolutely a different experience from treating one. you will only know if you have gone through it on your own" more or less what they said to me.

++++++

5. Everyone who is doing ObyGyn rotation in Rotunda got an email yesterday saying that starting today, the attendance will be taken for every tutorial because the attendance has been very poor for some. If you fail to get 100% attendance, there will be no exam for you this coming May. Finished reading it the only thing i can say is "Alhamdulillah....". Part of the lesson that we have in Rotunda Hospital is about its old heritage and the legacy of this hospital and its founder. Bartholomew Mosse. I never thought that we would be spent about 3 hours just to listen to the historical lecture. Anyhow, it was much more interesting that i thought. Didn't even took my usual lecture nap. ^___^

++++++

6. Birds of the same feather would always try to flock together but sometimes even the similar species would eat on their own if food supply is scarce. (does this make sense?LOL). In shorts, respect your teacher or your name would be known to others as someone who do not know how to respect them. Yes we could be friend with our teacher but respect their position is a must. lesson learned! ^___^

Let the game begins!

Rasa macam baru beberapa bulan lepas saja aku buat general practice. Rotation pertama tahun ni untuk aku.

So, ramai orang cakap this is the most demanding of all rotation. Pack schedule plus sooooo many stuff to read and many are new untuk aku sebab ObGyn is considered one of the specialty dalam medicine.

Jadi, harap korang semua doakan aku.

The books that i will probably never finish reading them

Rabbish rahli sadri wa yas-sir li amri wahloul uqdatam mil-lisaani yafqahu qawli

Know your right

To take part in election is exercising your right. Sometimes, we don't even know whether the election process is being done either truthfully or not. So, hopefully with this short video (obviously will never be from RTM) will raise some awareness about your right as a citizen. Before this, i heard that one of my relatives said to me that the vote could be trace thus for government officer, it would be bad if they choose to vote for the opposition. I thought it was an excuse that she gave so that she does have to go out to vote. Now, i know it is true. So, after this, you should not afraid anymore about your vote being trace.

I still remember that during the general election in 2008, the undi post did not reach Ireland. It stucked somewhere in UK according to the person from embassy at that time. I was wondering at that time what happened to those votes that did not reach the people that they were supposed to. Hopefully no one cast the vote for them and it was considered as undi rosak.

In Malaysia, we (you) are rarely being educate about our right because if they (government) do, they know that people will go against them. That's why they are able to manipulate and do as they wish. The reason that they are afraid of internet also could be linked to increase in level of education and awareness among citizens. For years, we have be bullied indirectly by not being able to know our own right, be it in education, health, legal, banking system etc.

People would only know about their right if they go to lawyer and looking for some legal case to be sorted. The best example was how the saman ekor was being manipulated all these while. That way it was constructed was illegal as being exposed recently and now, the JPJ and the authority are looking a way to restructure it so that they will be able to continue collecting the money from rakyat. New system is on the way, so be careful. ^__^

As shown in this video, some worker (including police, doctors, teachers etc) who was paid by the government to serve the rakyat (people) act as if they were the only truth. Whatever they say is right and you cannot go against them. If only you know your right, they won't be able to do that. The same about doing a rally which was suppose to be control by the police, not being held by them!

This is only a little exposure of your right as a citizen although it would give a great impact on the future of our beloved country, Malaysia. Hopefully, Malaysians would be able to exercise their right without any fear anymore.

yours truly,
A young generation of Malaysian

Their Secret?

Assalamualaikum wbt and good mornig everyone,

The whole Japan today are combating a battle with the destructive force brought by the 'nature' (so called by the 'westerners')  about 7 days ago. Earthquake and tsunami. As they are struggling to cope and make a comeback, 'nature' brought another weapon at the destructed area, snow and cold weather. It probably will take some time  for them to win this battle. Expert opinion predicted that it could take as long as 10 years to bring everything as they were before. In some places, probably never.

Since the first day of the tragedy, i'd been following the live news from CNN, BBC and some other sources such as newspapers, blogs etc. I always find that following 'natural disaster' interesting. I am amaze by the scale and the kind of thing happened. For me, it was a reminder and at the same time, you can try to imagine if something were to happen during the end of the day. As a Muslim, we believe that Allah SWT created something for a purpose. Even in such a disaster like this. I don't want to go into the debate about 'why HE did this is he were the most merciful etc' because then it will be out from my initial reason when writing this. If you want a good explanation about that, feel free to watch a short video by Dr. Zakir Naik.

At the moment, a nuclear plant is becoming a nuclear time bomb. You probably know in detail about this thing. In short, all the 3 safety plans that supposed to contain the explosion had failed and now they are preventing what is worse to come. All are because of earthquake and tsunami. As a human, we planed for the best. In the end, it was HE that determined everything. But the point here is that we have to be prepared and don't just rely on nothing. We have to plan and work towards it and remember that at certain point, we might need to change it accordingly. The backup is a must.

Amid the chaos at the moment, some people are starting to rebuild their life. What struck me the most is to see how they can do it in a very orderly manner. Very beautiful indeed. Normally, after every disaster, all that we can see are pictures of people 'fighting' against one another for the free stuffs. The flood in Pakistan and Bangladesh, rice truck accidents in Malaysia, 2004 tsunami in Indonesia and so on. However, the scenes in Japan is totally different. All we can see is that people are helping each other to cope with the tragedy. More stories could be read here.

20 years of my life, I haven't seen anything like this. After any disaster, all sources that I read from tell me that people struggling for themselves. However, since a week ago, another unfamiliar scene came out from Japan. After seeing this, now it all makes sense that they could recover very fast after the 2nd WW. And is you visited the link above, we can see that the Japanese were able to practically applied the theories that we were thought as a human especially as a Muslim. Be kind to others and not to only think about ourself. It doesn't just stop at individual level but even companies.

Source

We talked a lot about creating Muslim individual, Muslim family, Muslim community and all the hierarchy up to the Muslim governing the world but so far, very little have been shown to the world when it comes to the practicality. The Japanese probably has shown us how we shall behave as a community and if you think closely, the only thing that they lack is Islam itself. If not, they probably would be the best Islamic Nation in the world. So, what are their secret? Care to share your thoughts? Maybe those friends who is in Japan at the moment or who have been there could share their thoughts or anyone who have read something about the Japanese would like to share something? ^___^

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.

Wassalam.

Harini tiba-tiba rasa nak menulis pulak lepas lama tak menulis kat sini.

Anyway, harapnya tak berlaku lagi lah lepas ni benda-benda macam ni. In fact, bila cuba trace balik apa sebab yang berlaku, rasanya aku sendiri pun tak sure. Idiopathic. Haha.

So, sekarang aku dah halfway through rotation paediatrics ni, ada lagi 3 minggu, lepas tu exam on the last week tu.

Jumpa lagi di lain masa no.

Wassalam.

Start fresh

Assalamualaikum wbt and good day to all,

Post-posting letters to Malaysia.
A very quick entry just to let you guys know that I'm starting a new project. A picture for a day.
It is on my tumblr site.
I decided not to post it here coz it would just be too many entry of a picture with some short description.
My plan was to post a picture of any kind, every day (constantly insyaAllah) unless out of sudden the site was taken down or something technical happen to the site/me.
I got the idea from a guy who capture a picture every day of his life until his death. It is like a memoir or some sort I think. Many have done this. I think it would be very interesting. ^__^
So, you guys can actually contribute (if you are interested) because there is a section where you can submit something to my tumblr page. It does't have to be a picture. It could be jokes etc.
Just click the 'submit' button on the page if you wish to do so.
Only one reminder, please.....be nice okay! ^__^
Maybe in a few years time we can look back and smile at all those pics etc.

That's it for now.
Bye...

Till we meet again

Muaz

P/S: I love paediatrics!

Two little kids lined up for surgery are lying in stretchers outside the operating room.

The first kid leans over and asks, "What are you in here for?"
The second kid says, "I'm in here to get my tonsils out and I'm a little nervous."

The first kid tries to reassure the other and says, "Oh! don't worry. It's very simple. I had that done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake up they give you lots of Jell-O and ice cream."

The second kid, feeling a little better, then asks, "What are you here for?"
The first kid says, "A circumcision."

The second kid says, "Whoa! I had that done when I was born. I couldn't walk for a year!"

Prophet Musa's Prayer

[Musa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness) And ease my task for me; And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech). That they understand my speech.

Tomorrow is the day for the OSCE. The first oral exam after months. Indeed it is my first exam since last August.
May Allah make it easy for us to answer it and guide us for the best insyaAllah.

I noticed something today. Before almost every exam, there will be an entry for this blog. Perhaps my way to ease the tense maybe. ^___^

Buat rakyat Mesir sekalian, selamat maju jaya.
Berjuanglah kalian sehingga titisan darah terakhir. Pastinya balasan terbaik menanti di sana. ALLAHUAKBAR! ALLAHUAKBAR! ALLAHUAKBAR! Walillahilhamd.

Terus
Pandang depan
lupakan kisah silam
masanya barangkali dah tiba
Apapun semoga Allah kurniakan insan terbaik buat kamu
berikanlah aku sedikit kesempatan
berikanlah aku secebis kelapangan
untuk membuat sebuah keputusan
Semoga bahagia yang didamba itu
kekal hingga ke hari pembalasan
juga terbaik untuk masa hadapan

yang kekal dan pasti
serta abadi

Tadi jumpa patient schizophrenia, sedih dengar cerita hidup dia.

Side effects

just so that you all med student/ medical practitioners out there to know. it was never a pleasant experience to be on multiple meds at one time (polypharmacy). So be thankful if you have patients that kindly follow your advices and take all the meds as adviced. If they don't, you should also understand it.
until you yourself had to take them (plus suffering from the side effect), you would never understand the feeling. Empathy could just be a word to many until they feel it themself.

ranging from sleep problem to diarrhoea, oh, i wish that i never had to take them in the first place.
One thing for sure, if you have to do it, you just have to do it.

wassalam.

rajin memasak?

Oho, aku bukanlah seorang yang terkenal dengan rajin memasak ataupun pandai memasak sebab memang selalunya malas pun. Mullingar dulu, hampir setiap malam beli di luar. Kalau tak nasi ayam Balti Dunnes Store, mesti akan beli di kedai sebelah bed and breakfast (B&B) tempat aku dan kawan-kawan tinggal.

So, semalam dengan rajinnya aku masak simple stuff.
Sebelum balik sini dulu, aku beli jugak tepung perasa tom yam. Haha. pastu korang goreng la secukup rasa. Then, siap.

haha, see, mudah kan. Lagi best semalam sebab aku sorang saja yang guna dapur waktu tu, so dapat guna 4 dapur sekaligus dan kebetulan apartment ni ada periuk yang best-best, so dalam 45 min, siap semua termasuk nasik. Goreng ayam yang paling lama sebab aku suka rangup. :D

Bye..

Pemandangan bandar waterford di belakang. Tiada kaitan.

Walaupun sibuk, jangan lupa makan pagi. Penting! Paling kurang minum sesuatu tak kisah la susu atau teh ataupun kopi atau apa2 sahaja.
It will helps to keep u stay awake at least smpi tgh hari. Sbb tu bila posa disunatkan makan sahur. :)
Jom ke kelas.    ^___^
